Who Angered the Weather Gods?
Okay, so somebody has apparently angered the weather gods. Here's the forecast for the weekend for Nashville, TN according to Weather Underground:

We can't cancel the rooms at this point, so the plan is to meet around 8am breakfast hour Saturday morning to discuss any contingency plans.
The temps don't look awful, at least compared to what we're used to having here in St. Louis the last couple of months. Bring your rain gear, and whatever you would bring for a muddy cyclocross race (embrocation, booties, multiple socks, etc.) As long as there's no lightning, there will be at least a few people willing to roll.
If you're the praying type (or the make-a-sacrifice-to-a-deity type), now would be a good time to reacquaint yourself with your chosen deity.

Training Camp Bible
Today the most industrious Amy Strahan wrote up a training camp bible. If you're going to camp, you should read it, not just because there's lots of good information in there, but because she spent a lot of time writing it. But mostly, there's lots of good information in there.
You should also look over the maps and routes that were published last year...because we'll be using them again this year. And I'm too lazy to re-post all that stuff since it's still the same. So, use the scroll bar and maybe click on the links on the right side of the page.
Another thing: we were counting on the weather being better down in Nashville. The temps might be, but as of today here is the forecast for Saturday:
Well, that sucks. Don't let that deter you, but I'd strongly suggest being prepared for The Elements, and bring fenders if you have them. The person behind you for 100 miles will thank you.

Showers and thunderstorms likely. Highs in the upper 60s. Chance of rain 60 percent

Training Camp: 2011 Edition
Once again it's that time of year: team training camp. If you did this last year, you know the benefits. If you don't...well, it's fun, it's cheap, and it's good training. Review all the older blog posts to get a feel for it.
Details are still forthcoming, but suffice to say that at this point it's likely going to be strikingly similar to last year except for the dates and the lack of Joe Fuller and Jim Klages.
2011 dates are: March 3-5. Save them.
